Native shares struggled to carry on to earlier positive factors because the benchmark Philippine Inventory Alternate index (PSEi) fell under 7,000 anew after the US Federal Reserve introduced an anticipated rate of interest hike.
By the closing bell, the PSEi shed 0.70 %, or 49.57 factors, to six,986.19 whereas the broader All Shares index slipped 0.09 %, or 3.39 factors, to three,683.78.
