LEGAZPI CITY — A 44-year-old farmer was shot and killed Saturday, December 17, by an unidentified assailant in Lupi city in Camarines Sur province.
Police Senior Grasp Sergeant Jessie Baybay, an investigator of Lupi police, mentioned that whereas attending the wake of his cousin in Barangay (village) Colacling, Manuel Lumaban was shot by an unidentified man round 12:10 a.m.
The sufferer, who sustained gunshot wounds within the head, died whereas being taken to a hospital.
Police recovered seven fired and two unfired cartridge circumstances for a caliber .45 gun on the crime scene.
Baybay mentioned they have been conducting additional investigations to determine the motive behind the killing.
